Their platform is the best. If you have used adwords, you will see something very similar in interface, design and logic in adsense.
Choosing sizes and types of ads for your site is simple.
Choose from the standard banner sizes, text or image ads (or both), even the colors you want on the text ads. Then integrate into your site immediately by pasting the code they give you.
You can tag your ad spots or pages individually to give advertisers the ability to discover and bid on which ad spots are working the best for them. Their system optimizes the ads on your site based on which get the most clicks and serves ads according to your keywords so they are relevant.
Advertisers: They are google, thus they have the largest selection of advertisers you are going to find out there.
Their reports are indepth and let you slice your data several ways to really see what is going on. The rev share I believe is about 68 percent for you. The EPC's are the highest that I know of. Should you want to, you can block any advertiser that you don't want showing up on your site too. The platform gives you a lot of control and flexibility.
The negative:
1) They will make you verify EVERYTHING about your account. It's so tedious.
I had a previous adsense account banned a few years ago and actually had no trouble getting a new account. They will make you verify the following before they will pay you:
Phone number. (I used the same phone number)
Physical Address. (they mail a verification pin to your address. Mine was a private mailbox company.)
Tax number or ein. Did you know that a sole proprietor can get an ein online in literally 5 minutes from the IRS? Just google it. I did that and it worked like a charm.
Bank account. If you want them to deposit your earnings straight to your account, they will deposit a small amount and make you verify it. Otherwise you can get a check in the mail, which may take "2-3 weeks". Really? What are you using, the pony express?
Email account: and of course they verify your email account.
2) They ban you for no reason and don't pay you.
Here is one good example adsense terminating well known and respected affiliate's account for no reason:
I'm trying to find a good replacement for adsense now, if I do I'll be switching to someone who treats their publishers better than google does. It would be hard for me to recommend adsense to anyone because of this issue. I don't think they should treat people like this and it is the reason they aren't getting 5 stars from me. Their platform is 5 stars, their customer service is 1 star.
